When Maui County’s largest products show, the 2nd Annual Made in Maui County Festival, opens to the public on November 6 and 7, 2015 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, the event will boast a larger format with more products, more vendors, more food trucks, and more reasons to buy local.
This week, the Festival announced the final list of vendors who will be participating in this upcoming event. In total, nearly 150 product vendors and food trucks are confirmed, over 40 of which are new to the event.
Last year, the inaugural event attracted over 9,500 visitors and residents and 130 vendors participated. Vendors reported over $300,000 in product sales transactions, over 180 new accounts and wholesale orders closed, and over 1,000 leads for future sales and wholesale accounts generated. At this year’s Festival, Maui Gourmet Popcorn will once again be selling their popular coffee cookies, taro cookies, macadamia nut brittle, gourmet popcorn and cereal treats.
Serious shoppers who want a one-day head start during the 2nd Annual Made in Maui County Festival now have their chance. The general public will be allowed to purchase tickets for a special “Shoppers Preview” to be held at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) in Kahului on Friday, November 6th. Event hours are 2 pm to 6 pm. Cost is $35 per person. Tickets are limited, only 500 tickets will be sold to the general public. The Made in Maui County Festival is the largest products show in Maui County featuring over 140 vendors offering a wide variety of made in Hawaii products, including foods, produce, art, crafts, jewelry, fashion, gifts, collectibles and more – ALL in one location!
During the Shoppers Preview on Friday, November 6th, attendees will also enjoy the Festival’s opening ceremonies at approximately 5 pm in the Pavilion. Light refreshments will be served.
On Saturday, November 7th, the Made in Maui County Festival will be open from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Public admission is $5 (at the gate), children 12 and under are free.
